Lardner & District Primary School is located just out of Warragul and Drouin and is surround by farmland. We are small school with current student population of 73 students.

Enrolment information – Zones and Placement
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. Our school also has additional capacity available to welcome students who are outside of our school zone.
The Department provides guidance through the Enrolment: Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

2027 Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Timeline
A new statewide timeline for enrolling in school for the 2027 school year has been released.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government school, including Lardner and District Primary School. The timeline seeks to make the enrolment process simpler, clearer and fairer for families.
You can apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) at Lardner and District Primary School from April 20th 2026
What you need to do:
- Contact our school to book a school tour, learn more about our school and the enrolment application process
- Submit an enrolment application by Friday 31 July 2026
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application by Friday 14 August 2026
- You should contact our school to accept the offer by Friday 28 August 2026
- Participate in transition sessions during Term 4, 2026
- Your child will start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 28 January 2027.
- Enrolment applications submitted after 31 July 2026 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
