At Lardner we want happy, healthy, and resilient students that have a love of learning that continues with them throughout life. We are committed to working with each student so they build the knowledge and skills to be active learners that can monitor and manage their own learning.

Students are integral to the development of the school vision and implementation of such with genuine agency in decision making.

We build active learning through independent and collaborative opportunities where students are encouraged to make important decisions that impact on their learning in positive ways. We empower our students to explore connections, ask questions, make decisions, and reflect on their learning as they engage in play, projects, and more formalised learning opportunities.

Our school values reflect our strong focus on learning. We encourage all members of our community to work together to ensure we have an inclusive, welcoming and respectful school. We care for the environment and through our comprehensive curriculum we build the capacity of our students to be creative and resourceful.
